Hydrostatic Re-qualification
Our Transport Canada (TC) approved re-qualification facility uses state of the art hydrostatic testing equipment. Our hydrostatic test station can handle high volume and provide the fastest turn around time.
Our certified re-qualification technicians are trained to the requirements of Transport Canada in accordance with the National Standard of Canada CAN/CSA-B339, Cylinders, Spheres, and Tubes for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, and all related procedures outlined in the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) publications. Our visual inspection tools far surpass the minimum requirements to ensure accuracy.

Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher Maintenance

Every six years, dry chemical extinguishers need to undergo a, six year maintenance and should be emptied. All the components will be carefully examined before recharging it. Every twelve years, hydrostatic testing (pressure testing with water) of dry chemical fire extinguishers must be conducted.

Fire Alarm Annual Inspection

Fire alarm systems shall be inspected and tested in conformance with CAN/ULC-S536, ‘Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems.  Our certified/licensed Electricians perform inspections and troubleshoot problems right on site.

Emergancy Light Inspection

The fire code requires that the emergency lights or lighted exit signs be inspected and tested at least once a month. The test must include a thirty-second test of the lights. An annual test is also required, with the lights being operated on emergency power for the full minimum of thirty minutes. Mobile Safety may perform monthly and/or annual inspections and supply reports.  Monthly reporting is documented and reports are kept on site.

SteelFire is the largest Canadian manufacturer and wholesaler of ULC listed recharge chemical, replacement parts and accessories. We have access to their products and are able to pass on savings. Note* Some maintenance parts may only be sold to certified fire protection companies
